DAVID FIRTH is a well known composer , liturgical musician, story teller
and recording artist in the Pacific Northwest. For more than twenty-five years
David has been associated with music and ministry in the Catholic communities
throughout the United States and Canada. His music has been used throughout the county in Youth and Young Adult conventions, personal growth seminars and support groups and married couples and engagement retreats and workshops.
David provides concert presentations, workshops, key note speaking and retreat work on many different topics for all ages integrating music from his five album releases of origin music, story and humor. Of all of the blessings in Davidís life, he is most grateful and delighted to be
the father of six extraordinary children; Christy, Olivia, Patrick, Kelli, Emily
and Nicholas, Grandfather of Theodore Robert (Theo) and, he is most blest
to have recently married his best friend, Linda who is a counselor
& piano teacher.David is currently doing concerts, is a private music teacher, developing
HeartSongMusic Studio and working on two new CD collections: "Centerfield" and a children's album, "A Case of the Joys".

About The Music
Perhaps there is nothing more timeless, universal and mysterious then the simple questions of who am I and why am I here? These are questions that cannot be answered as much as they are questions to be lived into.
The songs I have written and recorded, as well as many other songs that have not yet been recorded, were each born out of my struggle to live those questions. They are guides that lead me to know what is important on my own journey through life. They are simple messages like I believe in you, I can love, there is hope, you are my friend, slow down, like a child, and. especially please be you. All of these and many other similar messages sound elementary and unsophisticated and yet, are basic to living with the questions of who am I and why am I here. They are integral to how we perceive and live in relationship with self, others, the world and God. They shape our ability to make choices, deal with transition of every kind and affect our willingness to grow. In essence, these elementary and unsophisticated messages influence our ability to live life fully.
Our present day competitive, image driven, fast paced and impersonalized society is hungering for these simple messages of self worth, dignity and value. My music keeps me grounded and reminds me of these important values and has for over 25 years. During this time many people have shared with me how certain songs have helped them to feel valued simply for who they are.
Remembering we are loved, want to love and can love is at the heart of my music.
I share this with you in the hope that, when you listen to my music you will simply be reminded, as I am, how uniquely gifted, valuable and deeply loved you really are. And continue to share that gift of you, in love always - in all ways.

About Heart Song Music
HeartSongMusic is the business side of the music of David Firth.
Besides being the independent music label of David's recorded music,
it is also the owner of all copyrights and the initial site of distribution of CDs,
singles and sheet music. All concert bookings for David are made
through HeartSongMusic.
HeartSongMusic provides all the elements that go into producing a collection of music; artist design of jewel case covers, inserts and panels, graphic work, printing and duplication, marketing, inventory control and distribution to sales outlets.
In addition, HeartSongMusic is developing an in-house recording studio where David's next CD, "Centerfield", is currently being recorded. HeartSongMusic has also been the recording studio for The State of Oregon's audio Voter's Pamphlet in 2004, Demo CDs and compilations for other local artists.
