The Garden Of Love
Welcome, pilgrim to the garden of love.
The gate is always open, enter in and become.
We who tend the garden are pilgrims just like you.
Make yourself at home here there’s room. Don’t be shy, don’t hesitate, our simple gifts are free. Your happiness, your holiness are the treasure that we seek. Be nourished by the tree of hope and bathe In the spring of laughter. Rest yourself and be renewed in the Meadow of acceptance. How blessed are you stranger For your story is unique. Blessed are you prisoner For it’s freedom you seek and how Blessed are you naked one Dressed in dignity and trust You are always welcome here In the garden of love. Come and drink from the grapes of Wisdom and truth or spend some time With the butterfly rediscovering your youth. Reflect upon the beauty of the flower And the weed or make the painful choice To journey with the small, dying grain of wheat. Blessed are you blind one You see goodness with your soul. Blessed are you broken one Your compassion will make you whole. Blessed are you hungry one For your gratitude is pure. You are always welcome here In the garden of love. We’re not here to change you Only you can choose to grow. We simply offer you the garden So you’ll know you’re not alone. Soon the voice of your heart will Heard with clarity to say it’s time To journey on with our friend, Integrity. And as you travel, go in peace We’ll be with you, for you see; You are in fact, The Garden. Open up your gate, welcome all in need. Blessed are you stranger For your story is unique. Blessed are you prisoner For it’s freedom you seek and how Blessed are you naked one Dressed in dignity and trust You are always welcome here In the garden of love. Welcome pilgrim to the garden of love. The gate is always open Enter in and become. Close Lyrics |

| We Are The Youth
(Re) We are the youth, please stand beside us And find the good that lives inside us When given room to grow, We’ll bear much fruit. We are the youth alive and changing Willing to be the bread for breaking For all God’s family of love and truth We are the youth. With love the seed is sown It’s roots dig out a home. In time when fully grown It yields a hundred fold. Embedded deeply in our heart Lives the seedling of God’s Word. We need your love just to survive And together we’ll feed A hungry world, ‘cause (Re) The rain may test our roots The sun may scorch our leaves. The weeds may crowd us in The birds may peck and tease. We will have our growing pains As we stretch to reach the sun. Please nourish us with faithfulness ‘cause the harvest is ready and the time has come. For (Re) Please don’t leave us lingering We may spoil or die on the vine. Our hearts and hands are ready To give to our brothers and Sisters of God. (Re) Close Lyrics |

| I Believe In You
You may not see the whole picture. You may not stand firm for very long.
You may speak with conviction, may not be willing
yet to sing out your song.
You may at times just feel like giving up and throwing your dreams away.
You may feel like the thorn upon a blooming rose
when it appears your touch brings scaring and pain. But I believe in you and your prayerful attitude. I believe your touch is meant to heal and be a source of life renewed. I believe that your deepest dreams, reflect your self integrity Enough to feeling choose to live and die as one, with My belief. You may not have all the answers. And the questions too, may not seem all that clear. You may not know where you’re going and it seems you’re only companion is fear. You may feel like an unlit candle, ‘cause the winds of life keep blowing you out. And the light that could lead you safely out of the dark is somehow hidden ‘neath a basket of doubt. Yet I believe in you and respect all that you choose. I believe your words of faithfulness will be sung through what you do. And I believe in you I see and in the you you’ll come to be. I too will walk in faithfulness in the light of My belief. Yes I believe in you and in all that you persue. I believe the barren vine you see even now produces fruit. ‘Cause I believe that the see of truth, within your fertile soil, took root. My gift of self in covenant proclaims that “I BELIEVE IN YOU”. | You Have Touched Me I Have Grown
(Re) You have touched me, I have grown And now my heart is open to the sun. I have touched you, now we are as one I don’t think I’ll be lonely anymore, Because my God, you’ve touched me I have grown. Like the fertile earth, you’ve kept me warm And helped me stay embedded through the storms And like the sunlight you have nourished me And brought out all my colors and my thrones Because of you I can stand up straight and tall Even though I’m kind of small and Sometime weak. Because of you all my songs are heard I just sing of what I’ve heard each time You speak. (Re) And like gardener you prune away The deadness that could suck away my life. And like the gentle rain you quench my Daily thirst refreshing me to stretch out In the light. Because of you I can be just Who I am and have the strength to be Replanted in new soil. Because of you I can live most anywhere Be a source of fruitfulness That comes with toil. (Re) Close Lyrics |
Fertile Soil
The seed small and helpless,
life in a shell; is embedded deep
within trusting you’ll treat it well.
And as you work with the sunlight
and you drink in the rain, your
gentle embrace calls forth the life
that’s encased. (Re) Rich and nourishing are you, fertile soil embracing all that is given, allowing nothing to spoil. From the womb of your heart the slightest gift is returned a hundred fold and endless in worth. From you, o’ fertile soil, our life’s given birth. Slowly, painfully the shell is broken down and the life, now quite naked begins to move toward the sun. And as you nourish it, empower it it still grows of it’s own. And though it breaks through your surface it’s roots have made you it’s home.(Re) Oh in every life there is a place of pure fertile soil. In the giving of that life seed is sown. In the soil of faithfulness, in the womb of trust and hope, a covenant of love can become. No longer small and helpless, the life now stands tall. And though there’s good times and bad times it still grows through it all. And though the elements have damaged it and it’s time now to prune, love is made manifest by the life bearing fruit. | We Will Remember You
No greater gift has been given than in God giving of His only Son.
There is no clearer way this is envisioned than through the life of one
who deeply loves. Love freely given and unmeasured is like the rain
to dry and barren ground. You're love has brought life to our whole family.
You've been the voice that's taught us joyful song. (Re) When we eat this bread, when we drink this cup, we will remember you...remember you, as loving us. As we hear God's Word and as we live out what we have heard, we will remember you...remember you, as loving us. A small bit of yeast gently kneaded greatly affects all the bread. Evenly it soon begins its rising to be broken so that someone might be fed. All throughout your life you truly loved us. The leaven of your love has touched our soul. It's kneaded us together and, with faithfulness, we can be the bread for breaking in the world. (Re) Close Lyrics |

| Come To Me
Come to me whenever you’re lonely.
Come to me whenever you cry.
Come to me whenever you’re joyful.
Come, sit by my side. Come to me whenever you hunger. Come to me both day time and night. Come to me to rest and do nothing. Come, sit by my side. (Bridge)And I’ll sing you a song that will touch all your pain And will give you new hope, a new start. And I’ll teach you a song you can share with your friends About the Love that I give from my heart. Come to me to share your excitement. Come to me when you feel uptight. Come to me with a heart full of gratefulness. Come, sit by my side.(Bridge) And I’ll sing you a song that will touch all your pain And will give you new hope, a new start. And I’ll teach you a song you can share with your friends About the Love that I give from my heart. Come to me whenever you’re lonely. Come to me whenever you cry. Come to me whenever you’re joyful. Come, sit by my side. Close Lyrics |

| All Is Not Rainbows
All is not rainbows...all, is not bright.
We can’t forget the grayness; we’re missing the night.
All is not spring time and all is not in tune.
Have we forgotten winter; did we sing our song of joy too soon. (Re) We could all stand together with our hands open wide to receive and to give out in love. But we all won’t be together if there’s one left behind Let us go forth, with open hearts; to seek and to find For we are God’s people and now is the time. All is not rosy; all not in bloom We can’t forget the watering or be lazy and fail to prune. Many voices crying out; very few of them heard. Are we afraid to listen? Are our hearts too hard to here The Word. (Re) (Bridge) FOR THE BANQUET IS READY THE FOOD IS PREPARED THE TABLE IS SET NOW BUT ALL ARE NOT HERE. DO WE WAIT IN OUR COMFORT FOR ALL TO COME IN OR DO WE GO OUT, WITH THE BANQUEST AND SHARE IT, WITH THEM? All could be rainbows. All could be bright. All could be rosy and the music sound fine, But not before the weak and poor are given their share. We can’t wait for someone else to take the chance to care. We could all stand together with our hands open wide to receive and to give out in love. But we all won’t be together if there’s one left behind Let us go forth, with open hearts; to seek and to find The one... the three... the many... the millions. We are God’s people... they are God’s people All are God’s people and now is the time. Close Lyrics |

Come take my hand and Be at peace. (Re) (Last refrain sung with “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot) Close Lyrics |

| A Bit Of Nourishment
(Re) All I ever want to do All I hope to be is Nothing more and nothing Less, than love that’s Given freely. All I ever hunger for What truly quenches my thirst Is to be the bread and wine For you, a bit of nourishment. My actions, Lord, betray me I am not as I at times appear Although I want to reflect Your goodness, I show the Backside of the mirror. To do your will delights me Lord. Behold I come running Look not upon my weakened Flesh, be see the spirit willing (Re) I confess oh Lord, my sinfulness And I claim it as my own. Please prune away the deadness So that my truer self might grow. Remember, Lord, your faithfulness Please heal me at the roots. Though it’s winter now and My branches bear, with your Son’s light I’ll bear fruit. (Re) You oh Lord, are the bread of life And your love for us the wine. It’s in feeding that we are nourished Sharing in your sacrifice. Accept oh Lord, these loaves and fish That we offer now as gift Please bless and multiply them Lord And give as you see fit.(Re) Close Lyrics |
